July 10, 2006 - Uptown Selected for 2006 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

Ermelo, The Netherlands -After a third selection trial and training session on July 10, 2006, the KWPN and the KNHS announced the names of the five year old horses that will compete for The Netherlands at the 2006 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, August 3-6, 2006. Uptown was among those selected. Uptown is owned in partnership with Kathy Connelly of Concord, MA, USA, Toine Hoefs of Erp, The Netherlands and Judy & Al Guden of Hyperion Farm, Inc. of Wellington, FL USA.

The selected horses are:
